Easy Wire Jewelry Making
They can be small and simple, big and unique. Colorful or blunt, long or short but each of them enhance your beauty and your feminine part. This is why it worth it to have it many! But how not to get bankrupt when the pair of earring in the art gallery on the corner costs average $60? The best way is to make your own jewelry!
It’s not very difficult to spent much money on jewelry and then whenever you go: cinema, theaterĀ or you are in the tube you see people in the same earrings, bracelet or necklace and you don’t feel special any more not even mention unique.
Wire jewelry making is not that difficult as you might be thinking. With all the guidance you can find in women’s magazines, jewelry making books, or jewelry making courses you can create something unique and original in less than 15 minutes.
When you make your own first earrings, ideas for the next ornament should sprinkle themselves. Various shapes and colors of beads offer many opportunities to be creative. Everything depends on our imagination and taste and the right skill will come with time.
One of the most popular jewelry making technique is called wire wrappig. It’s very easy technique, the best part is that you can combine elements without the need of soldering, you just simple take one wire and wrapped it with another one.
Let’s start with the wire:
For the earring base (construction) you will need wire thickness of 0.8 mm or 1 mm. The wire you will be using t wrap it around the earring construction should be aroundĀ 0.4 mm.
You can also use wire with a thickness of 0.6 mm, which is more convenient to crumple in a more elaborate shapes. Wire together with all necessary materials and tools you can find online in jewelry accessories shops. The choice is huge and prices are reasonable. From tools you’ll need round nose pliers, wire cutters and flat nose pliers. From stones glass beads and semi-precious stones (turquoise, jasper, rodonitu etc.).
Wire wrapping technique is very easy and there is nothing that holds us back in our creation except our imagination
